cow (gaushala)

The cow was elevated to the status of divinity in the Rg.Veda itself. In Book VI, the Hymn XXVIII attributed to Rishi Bhardwaja, extols the virtue of the cow.

Atharva Veda (Book X, Hymn 10), the cow is formally designated as Vishnu, and “all that the Sun surveys.” This divine quality of the cow has been affirmed by Kautilya in his Arthashastra (Chapter XXIX) as well.

We rely heavily on the outputs of agriculture, horticulture and animal husbandry produce for our nutritional needs.

Unfsortunately with the shifting from FYM and traditionally practiced integrated pest management systems to hybrid seeds, synthetic fertilizers and inorganic chemicals (pesticides and insecticides) in the quest of higher yields we have heavily compromised on the Purity and Quality aspects.

vedic studies

Vedic texts are revered by Hindus around the world, and their verses are recited at prayers, religious functions and other auspicious occasions.

DDF, as part of its social responsibility, will run a small traditional Vedic Pathshala – “Satya Vedic Pathshala”. Students or people interested or having belief, inclination in these ideals will be taught transcendental meditation technique and yoga asanas together.

At DDF’s Satya Wellness Retreat and Yoga Centre we work on de-stressing, detoxification and adopting a healthy way of living. We work on inculcating good habits, adopting disciplined life-style

DDF at its project site will play host to meetings, conferences, trainings and workshops of organizations, corporate, NGOs as per their needs and specifications.

Home stay & retreats

DDF invites people from all walks of life – students, educationists, professionals, volunteers, and foreigners etc. to visit our project area, village and help refine, strengthen our endeavor by sharing their knowledge, experience and by volunteering in our ongoing ventures.
